Support Our Veterans: ORRA's Donation Drive for the Orlando VA Fisher House

The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association's Military Advisory Council (MAC) is honored to organize a special donation drive benefiting the Orlando VA Fisher House. This vital facility provides a comforting "home away from home" for the families of veterans receiving medical care, offering them support and respite during challenging times. By participating in this donation drive, you have the opportunity to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

The drive runs from Nov. 8–30 at the ORRA Headquarters Lobby, located at 5421 Diplomat Circle, Orlando, FL 32810. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant difference.

Items Most Needed to Support the Daily Needs of the Families Include:

• Gift Cards (Under $50): Publix, Walmart, Target, and restaurants like Applebee's, Chili's, and Panera Bread. Gift cards offer families flexibility to purchase groceries, personal items, or enjoy a meal out, alleviating financial stress during a challenging time.
• Cleaning & Laundry Supplies: Lysol Kitchen Pro Spray, Scentiva Multi-Purpose Cleaner, Febreze Spray, laundry detergent pods, Microban Bathroom Cleaner, dishwasher tabs, Weiman Granite Cleaner & Polish, and Lysol Disinfectant Spray. These items help maintain a clean and comfortable environment, essential for the well-being of the families.
• Packaged & Non-Perishable Food Items: Bottled water, protein bars, Nutri-Grain bars, Ziploc bags (quart/sandwich size), Gatorade in different flavors, individually wrapped pastries, snacks, chips, cookies, coffee creamer, microwaveable soups and chili, coffee cups with lids (no Styrofoam), and K-Cups in various coffee flavors. Providing food and snacks helps families focus on supporting their loved ones without worrying about daily necessities.

*Please note that due to health regulations, clothing and used items cannot be accepted.
