Policies

Media Inquiries 

All media relations are handled by the Communications & Marketing Department. All press releases are written by the Public Relations Managers, Vice President of Communications & Marketing, or other parties if so assigned.

Regardless of authorship, all press releases must be proofread by staff before release. The President serves as the spokesperson for the Association. All media inquiries are to be channeled through the Vice President of Communications & Marketing and/or the Public Relations Manager.

Spokesperson

According to ORRA's established operating policies, the President is the sole spokesperson for ORRA in all matters. The President may, however, delegate this responsibility on a case-by-case basis at his/her sole discretion and may place such limitations on the delegated representative as deemed prudent.

The governmental affairs policies and positions on which the President may speak are limited to those which have been formally approved by the BOD in accordance with ORRA bylaws.
