2026 ORRA Leadership Elections

Applications for 2026 are Now Closed

The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) is now inviting applications for its 2026 Leadership positions: President-Elect, Treasurer, First Vice President, and Director (four 3-year term positions available).

To be considered, candidates must complete and submit a Consent to Serve form by 5:00 p.m. on July 25, 2025. Forms will be reviewed by the ORRA Qualifications Committee to confirm eligibility.

Qualified candidates’ Consent to Serve forms will be posted on the ORRA website for member review ahead of the election period.

Voting will take place September 22–26, 2025, opening at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. All active REALTOR® members as of September 19, 2025, are eligible to vote.

In accordance with the ORRA By Laws:

All Officers shall meet the following qualifications prior to and during their term:

  1. A REALTOR® Member of ORRA in good standing.
  2. Served at least two (2) consecutive years as an association Director. President-Elect candidate shall have served at least three years of the previous five years as an association Director.
  3. Active as a Florida REALTOR®
  4. Have no administrative complaint filed against them with FREC that has led to discipline within the preceding five (5) years or during their term.
  5. Must have no Code of Ethics violations which resulted in termination or suspension.
  6. Have served on Finance within the last two (2) years.
  7. Must attend and participate in the Florida REALTOR® Mid-Year and Annual Meetings, Great American REALTOR® Days, and the National Association of REALTOR® Mid-Year and Annual Meetings prior to and during their term, unless granted an exemption by the Executive Committee.
  8. Agree to criminal background check to be reviewed by the Human Resource Department and Association Attorney, which shall only be used in connection with approving or denying an application in accordance with Policy and Procedures.

All Elected Directors shall meet the following qualifications:

  1. A REALTOR® Member of ORRA in good standing.
  2. Prior to application, completed a leadership training course offered by the Association or another REALTOR®
  3. Served on a REALTOR® Association Committee, task force or forum for a cumulative amount of not less than three (3) years within the preceding five (5) years.
  4. Prior to application, qualify as a member of the ORRA Honor Society.
  5. Must have no Code of Ethics violations which resulted in termination or suspensions.
  6. Have no administrative complaint filed against them with FREC that has led to discipline within the preceding five (5) years or during their term.

Election Procedures & Policy

ELECTION PROCEDURES:  The following procedures will be followed:

  • The consent-to-serve form should be completed and signed by the candidate. In signing, the candidate is verifying that the information is complete and accurate.
  • All consent-to-serve forms are to be returned by 5:00 p.m. on July 25, 2025, so that information packets can be compiled and distributed to the ORRA Qualifications Committee for review when the committee meets.
  • Once the consent-to-serve form has been filed it cannot be amended or altered in any way. All consent-to-serve forms of qualified candidates are made available for viewing on the ORRA website. Each candidate will have the opportunity to record a candidate video to be placed on the ORRA website.
  • The ORRA Qualifications Committee shall review the Consent to Serve forms to ensure the candidate is deemed qualified to hold the office he/she is seeking, and then a notice will be sent by August 18, 2025 to all members announcing the names of all qualified candidates running for office.
  • An electronic ballot will be transmitted via the internet to each member eligible to vote as of September 19, 2025. The ballot will contain all officer and director candidates in alphabetical order and will also contain biographical information on each candidate for review.
  • After the ballot review period, members can vote beginning September 22, 2025, and ending at 5:00 p.m. on September 26, 2025. Members will vote electronically. The candidates receiving the highest number of votes (plurality) in their respective position shall each be declared elected.
  • The election results will be announced after 5:15 p.m., on September 26, 2025.
