ORLANDO, Fla. – Nov. 17, 2025 – The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA), the eighth largest real estate trade association in the U.S., today announces its recognition as Best Local Trade Association of the Year – Florida by the 2025 BUILD Real Estate and Property Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
Presented by BUILD Magazine – a leading trade magazine covering news from the world of construction, engineering, property, architecture, and design – the Real Estate and Property Awards showcase firms and individuals who have shown excellence and tenacity in ensuring their clients find their dream homes and properties.
ORRA was recognized for its leadership in innovation and diversity initiatives within the real estate industry.
Last year, ORRA elevated innovation with the opening of its new headquarters to support its growing membership. The building features an “Innovation Lab,” a unique space where REALTORS® can explore emerging technologies shaping the industry – from AI and cybersecurity to metaverse applications. Recognizing the growing role of technology, ORRA now uses this space to provide education and training on these tools, along with a wide range of courses, certification programs, and workshops to support members at every stage of their careers.
On the diversity front, ORRA proudly welcomed its first Hispanic president, Rose Kemp, in 2024, followed in 2025 by president Lawrence Bellido, who is also Hispanic and has continued advancing DEI priorities. With more than 7,000 Hispanic REALTORS® among its membership, ORRA remains committed to cultivating Hispanic leadership and broadening access to opportunities.
“Each year, our executives and members raise the bar for what a real estate association can deliver,” said Cliff Long, CEO of ORRA. “From expanding leadership opportunities to opening a new headquarters, this recognition reflects the momentum our entire organization has created in 2025. We’re proud to be seen as a model for the industry in Florida and beyond.”
Honorees were chosen by the BUILD research team, who gathered information from publicly accessible sources in addition to materials supplied by ORRA. The judging panel made its decision based on various criteria such as innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, feedback, and business performance.
The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, recognized as one of the most innovative local real estate associations in the country, represents roughly 18,000 real estate professionals throughout Central Florida.
