Cliff Long, ORRA CEOORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2024) – The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) is pleased to announce that CEO Cliff Long has been selected as a RISMedia 2024 Real Estate Newsmaker – a dynamic group of key influencers making headlines as a result of their newsworthy contributions to the real estate industry and their efforts to affect the consumers and communities they serve positively.

RISMedia, the leader in U.S. real estate news and information services, announced its 2024 Real Estate Newsmakers on Feb. 1 in an online directory on RISMedia.com and in the February issue of its flagship publication, Real Estate magazine.

Long was recognized as a Luminary – an iconic leader. This category includes founders, CEOs, and executives dedicated to improving their companies, agents, and the industry to reach new heights.

Under Long’s leadership, ORRA created its first-ever diversity council in 2023. The council connected multiple societies under one roof to provide networking, educational, and event opportunities, connect people with diverse backgrounds, and allow organizational changes to drive initiatives forward.

That same year, the organization met its REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) fundraising goal by mid-year. ORRA and its members raised the most in the organization’s history and in the shortest amount of time. Funds raised by RPAC help promote the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the US, advancing members’ success.

“I say this all the time – the thing that resonates with me the most is when somebody tells me that ORRA helped excel their career in real estate and that their career choice changed their life,” Long said. “I am honored to be recognized as a RISMedia Newsmaker for the third year in a row. We have lots in the works for ORRA in 2024, and I will continue championing success for our members and serving the Central Florida community.”

RISMedia will honor this year's Real Estate Newsmakers, including the 2024 Hall of Fame, at RISMedia's Newsmakers Reception & Dinner, being held Sept. 5 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.

“It’s always so inspiring to see the incredible accomplishments of so many real estate professionals around the country, and this year’s group of 2024 Newsmakers is no exception. From the creativity and innovation being implemented through the shifting and challenging 2023 market, to industry records being broken, to the wonderful charitable work being done across the nation, we continue to be amazed by the ingenuity and success of these real estate professionals, more than 300 of whom we are honoring on our seventh year of publishing Real Estate Newsmakers," said John Featherston, founder, CEO and publisher of RISMedia.

"We are so proud every year to recognize the hard work, dedication, and determination of these finest industry professionals – the 2024 Real Estate Newsmakers – who went above and beyond in 2023 amid the challenges and opportunities of this evolving market. Help us celebrate their hard-earned recognition," Featherston added.
