The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association left an indelible mark at the prestigious Great American Realtor Days event in Tallahassee, held from March 29-31. Amidst the gathering of over 1,000 dedicated REALTORS®, ORRA took center stage, passionately advocating for critical issues shaping our noble profession.
A formidable delegation of sixty-five ORRA members actively participated in this three-day event, engaging in numerous pivotal conversations with lawmakers and absorbing insightful legislative briefings tailored for different member groups.

The timing of the 2023 GARD event was particularly auspicious, coinciding with the momentous signing of the Affordable Housing Bill into law by Governor Ron DeSantis.
Adding to the significance, Florida REALTORS® President Mike McGraw, also an esteemed ORRA Past President, was not only invited to attend but also bestowed with the honor of speaking during the historic signing ceremony.
Beyond the impactful hill visits and legislative briefings, ORRA's influential presence echoed on the legislative floor, where Representative Plakon acknowledged and commended the association for its unwavering commitment as stewards of REALTOR® policies.
Commitment to an Advocacy and Positive Industry
The commitment to advocacy and positive industry impact reached new heights as an auction in support of the REALTOR® Party, orchestrated by ORRA, surpassed expectations by raising an impressive sum of over $7,000.
This resounding success underscores the association's dedication to advocacy, reinforcing its pivotal role in shaping the future of the real estate industry.
