Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association Breaks Ground on Future Headquarters

New building to launch ORRA into the next century of service to Central Florida

The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) today announces the groundbreaking of the organization’s future headquarters, located conveniently off I-4 near Lee Road.

The property will allow ORRA to expand its educational offerings and meeting spaces, launching the 19,000-member trade association into the next century of the real estate profession.

What Does The New Building Bring?

The complex contains nearly 100,000 square feet of office space, consisting of three buildings situated on 7.2 acres. The property was selected in late 2019 and purchased in early 2021.

At the time of the property selection, the property was 92% vacant, allowing ORRA to further develop the area, creating a landmark property along I-4.

The new headquarters will give ORRA much-needed additional space, as ORRA is now the eighth-largest real estate trade association in the country, as well as 170 parking spots.

The old building was too cramped and too costly to upgrade to accommodate ORRA’s growing membership.

“As we celebrate 100 years of Orlando real estate, we are looking to a future that serves our members and our community as a whole,” explained 2021 ORRA President Natalie Arrowsmith, NextHome Arrowsmith Realty. “Our new headquarters will give us a better home base to provide that support.”

"It’s time to welcome our REALTORS® home to a place that can handle our rapidly growing membership," said ORRA CEO Cliff Long. "As we put a heavy emphasis on education, we need a space to accommodate an increasing list of classes and events.”

Meetings and Event Space

The meeting and event space in the new headquarters will allow both members and the general public to rent it out, generating independent revenue for ORRA.

The building will be designed by Scott + Cormia Architecture and Interiors, and PBC Construction will serve as the general contractor. The mortgage lender was Fifth Third Bank.

“We are honored to help celebrate ORRA’s 100 years of empowering REALTORS® in our region,” said Greg Dryden, Fifth Third Bank’s Orlando City President. “To be able to support our client’s growth with financing for their new corporate headquarters at such an integral time is something Fifth Third Bank is extremely proud of.”

Modern New Building

The modern design of the new building reflects the new age of real estate that ORRA is entering as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.

“We are at the start of an exciting new century for real estate. Technology and community are intersecting hugely, and our new building will exemplify the latest trends,” explained Long. “When our members enter this new building, we want them to feel right at home, so they’re better able to serve Central Florida.”

Construction is anticipated to be completed by the time Orlando welcomes REALTORS® from around the world at the 2022 National Association of REALTORS® Conference and Expo in Orlando.
