ORRA seeks members for NAR committee service

Seeking to elevate your volunteerism to the national level? Consider serving on a National Association of REALTORS® committee and make an impact on real estate across the country and beyond.

ORRA is seeking individuals from within its membership to place on various NAR committees. NAR committees are a great forum for debate and discussion, and being on a committee allows
you to contribute to the decision-making process and to gain national experience beneficial for seeking a leadership role.

Applications for 2017 NAR committee service are accepted March 7 – May 23, 2016. Please notify Carole Burgess, ORRA administration manager, of your intent to apply for NAR committee service.

The application process include three basic steps:

Step 1. Expertise Profile
Members must complete an expertise profile, preferably with a photo, prior to submitting an application to serve on a committee.

Step 2. Committee Application
Members must apply to serve on a committee themselves; applications cannot be submitted for someone else. Members may submit applications for up to five committees, ranked in order of preference.

Step 3. Endorsements
Members who have submitted an application to serve on a committee can obtain up to five endorsements from other leaders regarding their qualifications. The member will provide their endorsers with a unique link to access the endorsement page online.
