The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association has provided title sponsorship support to an event dedicated to discussion of advancing Central Florida’s transportation agenda.

The event "Central Florida Regional Leadership Forum – Advancing Our Regional Transportation Agenda” is free to the public and will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 8:00 am until 11:30 am at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. The forum is sponsored by ORRA and hosted by the Central Florida Partnership.

Update 3/6/2014: The "Central Florida Regional Leadership Forum - Advancing Our Regional Transportation Agenda is now at capacity. No additional seats are available.

The forum will feature presentations from regional transportation experts and discussion of key findings from a recent regional transportation needs report.

"REALTORS'® interest in transportation improvements is due to the potential for transportation to enhance both property values and a community’s quality of life,” explains ORRA Chairman Zola Szerencses, RE/MAX 200 Realty. "A transportation plan that anticipates the need to relieve traffic congestion contributes to stable and vibrant neighborhoods, and most certainly contributes to an area’s economic development.”

In addition, REALTORS® support alternative forms of transportation such as SunRail that provide efficient, safe, and convenient ways to travel while also reducing congestion and improving air quality.

The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, recognized as one of the most innovative local real estate associations in the country, represents more than 9,500 real estate professionals throughout Central Florida.
