The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association is pleased to announced its recommended candidates for election to office on races held August 18, 2020.  

The REALTOR® organization recommends candidates who are sensitive to issues related to real estate, homeownership, and private property rights. In addition, the association considers support of issue campaigns that address the rights of the property owners and/or improves the quality of life within our region.

Voter Registration Deadline: July 20, 2020
Early Voting: August 8-15, 2020
Deadline for Mail-in Ballot Request: August 8, 2020
Election Day: August 18, 2020

Orange County:
• Deadline to Register: Monday, July 20, 2020
• Sample Ballots will be mailed to registered voters on July 28, 2020
• Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot: Saturday, August 8 at 5PM
• Early Voting: Monday, August 3 - Sunday, August 16, 2020 (9AM – 7PM)
• Primary Election Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2020 (7AM – 7PM )

Seminole County:
• Deadline to Register: Monday, July 20, 2020
• Early Voting: Saturday, August 8 – Saturday, August 15 (10A – 6PM)
• Primary Election Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2020 (7AM – 7PM)

ORRA considers candidates based on his or her past voting record and/or sensitivity to real estate issues. Candidates are invited to participate in a screening process by the ORRA Candidate Screening Subcommittee, which then makes candidate recommendations to the ORRA Board of Directors for final approval.

ORRA supported candidates who accept political action committee (PAC) funds are eligible to receive contributions from the REALTORS® Political Action Committee for use in their campaign.
