Flood-related information and documentation is available to real estate, lending, and insurance professionals through the City of Orlando Office of Permitting Services.
The City of Orlando Office of Permitting Services, which is located on the first floor of the city hall building, maintains copies of FEMA elevation certificates on all buildings constructed in the floodplain since 1993, plus additional flood zone information.
The documents are provided as part of the City of Orlando’s participation in the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community Rating Service. The program rewards communities that are doing more than meeting the minimum requirements to help their citizens prevent or reduce flood losses.
The City of Orlando Office of Permitting Services can be reached at 407.246.2271.
