Brace yourself, because Orlando has just been crowned the nation's number 1 destination for Fourth of July travelers in 2018 by AAA.
Yep, that means even more traffic as usual during the holiday week, especially on Tuesday, July 3; plus unexpected, heightened traffic during non-rush hours as worker bees leave the office early in celebration.
Orlando and Anaheim, Calif., the number 2 destination, of course share Walt Disney World in common (here, the opening of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios on June 30 is expected to be a huge draw). Seattle, Anchorage, and Honolulu round out the top five.
Planning to skip out of town yourself for the Fourth? AAA says the top international destinations are Rome, London, Dublin, Vancouver, and Paris.
