New to the business or thinking about becoming a real estate agent? Then you most likely have a few questions.

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive. If you don't find the answers you're looking for here, please don't hesitate to contact our Membership Department at 407.253.3580.

How do I get a real estate license?
The first step in getting a real estate license is to contact the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

If I just passed the real estate test, can I join the Association?
Yes, you can join ORRA if you are currently sponsored by a broker and have documents supporting proof of sponsorship. In addition, your sponsorship documents should have also been sent to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, or the DBPR website should show you hold an active license with your sponsor.

How much are dues?
The dues you pay are based on your level of membership with our Association (Designated REALTOR®, Non-Designated REALTOR,® or Affiliate). Visit the "Join ORRA" section of the website to determine your dues.

When are the annual dues due?
Yearly membership renewals are due by October 31 of each year.

When is new member orientation?
New member orientation can be completed online or by attending a live class. The online program is offered on NAR's website. The live class is offered each month at ORRA and does provide you with 3 CE credits in addition to fulfilling the new membership responsibilities.

How do I get a Supra key and lockbox?
When you join ORRA, you have the opportunity to lease a Supra ActiveKEY or a Supra eKEY. You may also purchase Supra iBoxes in the ORRA REALTOR® Store.
