Take the next steps

This course is a follow up to the "So You Think You Want to Be a Commercial REALTOR®". The purpose of this class is to tell you what those "Next Steps" are, help you to get commercial listings, and once you get a listing show you how to market the property effectively. You'll leave the class more knowledgeable on what to do next and more confident that you can move forward in the direction of being a commercial real estate specialist.

This course will help you:
  • Review the kinds of non-residential real estate transactions
  • Outline the education alternatives for commercial agents
  • Identify work sources
  • Talk about how to obtain experience
  • Discuss how to go about getting a listing
  • Outline preparation for a listing appointment
  • Learn what goes into a marketing package

Linda Olson
Ms. Olson is an active REALTOR® specializing in commercial properties, especially vacant land but also completes transactions as a residential agent. She has a bachelor's in wildlife management, a master's in wild life ecology and has spent more than 20 years as an environmental consultant to builders and developers before obtaining her real estate license. She is a Florida REALTORS® faculty member and has also written and taught numerous CE credit courses.
