The key to any successful real estate transaction is the negotiation process. The instructor will discuss the differences in the two negotiation approaches and how best to use them. You will also gain the confidence you need to deal with tough issues that arise during the transaction.

You will learn how to:

  • Set your buyer or seller expectations
  • Use the 12 persuasion principles to increase your success rate
  • Effectively use offer pricing to your advantage
  • Apply the seven key concepts in negotiating on the Florida FAR/BAR AS IS contract
  • Research and prepare for each negotiation
  • Read the motivation of the other party and position your offer
  • Navigate through the 10 pitfalls of negotiations


Jason JakusJason Jakus, instructor and author, has been the managing partner and sales director of Leisure American Realty for the past six years specializing in the luxury, golf, and waterfront home marketplace in Fort Myers Beach. He is a national speaker with 13 years of experience working with Fortune 1000 companies. Jason just finished his second book "Building Your Business Pipeline With Social Media" which was released in September 2012. He is also a member of Florida REALTORS® faculty.
