Learn How You Can Help Improve Your Client’s Credit Rating

Credit scores can have a significant impact on your client’s financial life. Lenders rely on credit scores extensively in decision making, including the initial decisions of whether to lend and what loan terms to offer for most types of credit, including mortgages.

Many buyers and sellers have the illusion that their credit scores are set and cannot be changed - but the scoring system is simply a computer analyzing the information provided. In this course, the instructor will help REALTORS® to understand…
  • Credit scoring
  • How credit scores affect your client’s ability to secure a mortgage
  • How to assist clients in achieving and maintaining the highest possible credit scores
  • How to repair existing bad credit
  • The guidelines of when consumers will be able to purchase again after a short sale, bankruptcy, or foreclosure through the agencies (i.e. FHA, VA, USDA, FMNA, and FHLMC)
