Do you know what options homeowners have to avoid foreclosure? Learn a new strategy and be in compliance with the law.

Home retention remains the order of the day! It is well understood that mortgage servicers' abilities to transition delinquent borrowers into re-performing status is limited. Political pressure on servicers to avoid foreclosure and the popularity of short sales seems only natural.

In this class, you will learn about the homeowner’s options such as:

  • Behind the Scenes of Loss Mitigation
  • HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative Program) Guidelines
  • Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac HAFA Guidelines
  • Qualifying the Homeowner
  • Curable and Non-curable Defaults
  • How to Structure the Short Sale Listing and Offer
  • Mortgage Deficiencies
  • How Short Sales Affect Credit Scores
  • Various Retention Plans - HAMP, HARP, New Unemployed
  • Imminent Default, Second Home & Investment Property
  • MARS Rules – Disclose, Disclose, Disclose
  • Consumer Finance Protection Bureau
Based on the S.A.F.E. Act (Safe Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008) "anyone that directly or indirectly negotiates the terms of the mortgage must be licensed under the S.A.F.E. Act." Attend this program and learn exactly what the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has to say regarding what real estate professionals can and cannot perform in a short sales transaction.

All attendees will receive a FREE eBook of Cathy’s book
"A Road Map to Saving Your Home”.
