THE VOICE OF REAL ESTATE IN ORLANDO CONTEST

1. Disclosure; Contest Period
The 2012 "The Voice of Real Estate in Orlando” Contest is sponsored by the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) (Sponsor) as part of the 2012 REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Fundraising Auction.

Entries must be delivered in electronic format to the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association’s office (located at 1330 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida 32810) or via mail (Attention: The Voice of Real Estate in Orlando Contest), P.O. Box 609400, Orlando, Florida 32860.

Entries will be accepted starting Friday, June 22, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, until noon on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, Eastern Standard Time.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the REALTORS® Political Action Committee.

2. Eligibility
Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations in the United States. Employees and independent contractors of Sponsor, and any other individual or entity involved in the development, promotion, or execution of the Contest, including but not limited to ORRA elected officers and the 2012 RPAC Sub-Committee, and the immediate family members and/or household members of each are not eligible.

To enter you must be a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association and agree to be at the 2012 RPAC Auction in Maitland, Florida on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at your own expense if selected as a finalist.

Musical groups of up to four individuals are permitted to enter the contest. However, at least one of the group members must be a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association. All group members must agree to be at the 2012 RPAC Auction in Maitland, Florida on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at your own expense if selected as a finalist.

 

3. To Enter
Enter by completing all parts of The Voice of Real Estate in Orlando official entry form located at www.orlrealtor.com and submitting a video of your performance on electronic media such as a flash drive or a DVD. Entries must contain your first name, last name, company name, city, state, email address, and a contact phone number. You must also identify all individuals who appear in the video. Entry of a performance constitutes your certification that you are (i) the owner of the video, (ii) able and authorized to submit it; and have met all pertinent licensing requirements, and (iii) have received the consent of anyone pictured. No entries will be returned.

4. Contest Judging; Winner Notification; Prizes
A panel of judges will review entries and select three finalists based on originality, talent, charisma, and overall appeal. All decisions of this panel are final. In addition, the judges have the right to deny inclusion of any entry they consider inappropriate. Their decision in this matter is final.

At the auction, the live performance will be evaluated by those persons attending the event. The audience will determine the winner. At the conclusion of the performances of all three finalists, the audience will be asked to vote for best performance. Voting tickets will be sold to persons wishing to vote in the contest. The finalist with the most tickets will be the winner. The winner will be announced immediately upon conclusion of the voting period.

The winner of the "The Voice of Real Estate in Orlando Contest” will be awarded a cash prize of one thousand dollars .The other two finalists will each be awarded one cash prize of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250).

If the finalist is a musical group, only one cash prize per finalist/group will be awarded.

5. Finalist Notification/Prize Claims
Finalists will be announced on July 11, 2012. In the event that a Finalist is unable or unwilling to perform, an alternate Finalist will be selected. Finalists will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, which must be returned within 5 days of attempted notification or an alternate Finalist will be selected and substituted for any who do not complete this requirement[LH1].

6. Prize Restrictions
The Prize for the winner will be awarded as a cash payment to the winner. No substitution of Prizes is permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Any federal, state, or local taxes on Prizes and any expenses related to the acceptance and/or use of the Prizes not specified herein as being awarded are the responsibility of the Winner/Finalists.

7. Authorization and Release
By submitting your entry, you agree to release, and to indemnify, save and hold harmless, Sponsor and its members, officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, affiliates, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest, or the receipt, redemption, or use of any prize, including any injuries or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession or awarding of any prize.

8. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for printing, typographical, human, or other errors of any kind in any contest-related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Contest without further obligation. In such an event, Sponsor may, but shall have no obligation, to award a Prize from among all valid and eligible entries received prior to such action. The Contest is governed by laws of the State of Florida for the resolution of all claims and disputes (excluding any claims against or disputes involving parties other than ORRA relating to any prize awarded in the contest).

9. List of Finalists/Winner
To receive a list of the Finalists, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to "2012 The Voice of Real Estate in Orlando Contest”, Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association. 1330 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida 32828. Requests must be received by December 31, 2012. The Winners' names will be sent when all of the entries have been judged and the Finalists have been verified.

10. Rules
All decisions of the judges regarding the application or interpretation of these rules shall be final.
