"How I Positively Impact the Community as a REALTOR®” Video Contest

ORRA members: ORRA wants to hear your story
about how you are helping build a better community

REALTORS® not only help people realize the dream of homeownership, they also help build their communities. REALTORS® contribute countless hours to making their community a better place in which to live.

Share your story of how you’re improving your community, and your favorite charity could win a donation of $3,000 from ORRA!

ORRA members can enter the "How I Positively Impact the Community as a REALTOR®” Video Contest by submitting a video up to two (2) minutes in length explaining how they make a difference in their community.

The video contest will be open for submissions from Monday, January 14, 2013 at 12:00:01 a.m. EST to Friday, February 15, 2013at 11:59:59 EST.

Entries must be delivered in electronic format to the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association’s office (located at 1330 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida 32810) or via mail (Attention: How I Positively impact the Community as a REALTOR® Video Contest), P.O. Box 609400, Orlando, Florida 32860.

ABOUT THE VIDEO·        

  • Your video must be no more than 2 minutes in length.
  • Your video must be your own original creation - no copyrighted music, video, or images may be used.
  • Your video must not infringe on any third party rights.
  • Your video must not have been produced for compensation or posted previously on any website.
  • Your video may not include your last name, nor the name, logo, or any identifying mark for your real estate office or franchise. However, you may indicate that you are a "REALTOR®”.

Following the close of the entry period, the ORRA Communications Committee will select three (3) video finalists. The finalists will be announced the morning of Monday, February 25, 2013, and will be notified by e-mail. The three finalist videos will be posted to ORRA’s website.

ORRA members will vote for the finalist video they believe represents the most audience appeal beginning on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 12:00:00 p.m. EST and ending on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (the " Online Voting Period").The finalist video that receives the most votes during the online voting period will be named the "Video Contest Winner.”

Charitable donations on behalf of ORRA totaling $5,000 will be given to charities on behalf of the three finalists winners of the video contest. (Each finalist winner will be able to select a charity to receive the corresponding donation.)

The prize distribution will be determined by the total number of online votes received, with the following prize amounts: 1st prize of $3,000; 2nd prize of $1,500; and 3rd prize of $500.
