Want to make an impact on the future of your association and your profession? Help chart ORRA's direction by sharing your time, talents, and expertise as a volunteer on an ORRA committee. At the end of each year, ORRA seeks individuals to fill openings on some of its more than 20 committees, task forces, councils, and forums.

Budget and Finance Committee provides oversight of financial and budgetary aspects of the association’s operations.
Communications Committee oversees the communications efforts of the association.
Governmental Affairs Committee tracks regulations that affect the real estate industry, participates in public meetings, and communicates with governmental officials. Handles RPAC fundraising through RPAC Subcommittee.
*Grievance Committee receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests and determines whether or not hearings are warranted. (Mandatory training session on Tuesday, January 27; no sign-ups after training date.)
Investment Committee handles association’s activities related to investing and asset allocation.
Member Relations Committee provides guidance regarding membership policies, represents the needs of the membership, and addresses development issues. The committee also organizes and participates in community events and activities that give all members the opportunity to become involved in their communities.
Professional Standards Committee conducts hearings on alleged unethical conduct by ORRA members or in arbitration of business disputes. (Mandatory training session on Tuesday, January 27; no sign-ups after training date.)
Brokers Council provides brokers with informative presentations and networking opportunities.
Global Real Estate Council of Orlando presents information and networking opportunities to increase members’ international real estate transactions. (Annual fee: $55)
Property Management Council meets to discuss market trends and hosts educational presentations by property management experts.
Orlando Regional Commercial Council provides continuing education and networking forums to enhance REALTOR® success in commercial business.
Young Professionals Network, Orlando Chapter helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by providing tools and encouragement via mentors, networking events, and community service projects (Annual fee: $35)
Affiliate Forum plans social and networking programs for the association.Professional Development Forum
seeks to improve REALTOR® professionalism and productivity via educational programming suitable for all segments of the ORRA membership.
Awards Task Force organizes, plans, and implements ORRA’s yearly awards program.
Bylaws and Policy Task Force reviews ORRA’s governing documents to ensure they remain current to Florida Real Estate Commission, Florida REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® rules.* Those selected for the Grievance Committee and the Professional Standards Committee must attend a special training session on Tuesday, January 27. Committee sign-up will close after the training date.
