License renewal deadline strikes on March 31
Wednesday, February 22, 2012
Real estate licensees whose licenses expire in March have until March 31, 2012 to complete the entire renewal process.
»The continuing education requirements for renewal must be completed by March 31, 2012 at midnight.
According to Florida Statute 475.182, all licensees must complete the required post-licensing or continuing education AND submit a renewal application and fee on or before the date of expiration. Any license that is not renewed at the end of the license period shall automatically revert to involuntary inactive status. At that time, practice of real estate by licensees with an involuntary inactive license is illegal.
Licensees can go online (www.myfloridalicense.com) to verify continuing education credits, as well as submit their renewal application online.
Renewal is NOT automatic once continuing education has been completed. Licensees must complete the continuing education requirements AND complete the online renewal application AND pay the appropriate fee. Once all education requirements are met AND the renewal application has been received with payment, the license will renew automatically the next business day.
Visit www.myfloridalicense.com or call 850.487.1395 TODAY! to verify your license expiration date, completed continuing education, and renewal application status.
