Supra subscribers: Problems with iPhone adapter
Friday, January 20, 2012
ORRA has received a few complaints about the iPhone adapter coming apart from the clip and/or iPhone. This is especially common for members who are heavy users of the adapter.
ORRA has been in contact with Supra regarding this issue. Supra has acknowledged the problem and is working to fix the mechanical error.
In the meantime, if you are experiencing issues, the following interim solutions are available:
- Use a rubber band to keep the clip attached to the adapter (although not high tech, it works);
- Do not attach the adapter to your key ring (as the adapter wears from use, the likelihood of it detaching when bumped or swung increases) ;
- Request a free replacement from Supra by calling 877.699.6787 (only available if you purchased the adapter within the last year); or
- Get a free replacement clip from ORRA (while supplies last).
ORRA is committed to assisting you with this problem and minimizing any resulting inconvenience. Please contact the ORRA Membership Department at 407.253.3580 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional assistance.
