ORRA offers its first CRS designation class since 2005

As part of the ORRA Professional Development Forum’s intent to provide more designation and certification programs, a class leading to the Certified Residential Specialist designation has been scheduled for the ORRA Conference Center in October.
REALTORS® who take "Short Sales and Foreclosures: Protecting Your Clients’ Interests” (October 20, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) will earn eight hours of credit toward the CRS designation and eight hours of continuing education credits. The course also qualifies as a "core class” for those seeking Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification. Learning objectives include:
*Negotiating with financial institutions;
*Selling and listing REO and short-sale properties; and
*Implementing a step-by-step client counseling process.

In addition, a two-day program worth 16 hours toward the CRS designation will be offered October 25 – 26, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Florida REALTORS® building in Orlando. For more information about "Business Planning and Marketing,” contact M.E. "Charli” Phelps at 407.695.6544.
And finally, ORRA will be offering another two-day program worth 16 hours toward the CRS designation on February 8 – 9, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the ORRA Conference Center. Download the flier for "Listing Strategies” then register for before January 16, 2012 to save $50!
