ORRA names Cliff Long as chief executive officer

ORRA is pleased to announce that Cliff Long has joined the association as our new chief executive officer.
Long comes to ORRA from the Birmingham (Alabama) Association of REALTORS®, where he served dual roles as CEO of both the association and the Greater Alabama Multiple Listing Service. Previously, he was CEO of the Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
“Cliff brings to ORRA a breadth of experience, and we are looking forward to his guidance in assisting Orlando’s real estate professionals flourish under today’s market conditions and in today’s digital environment,” says ORRA President Bruce Elliott, Regal R.E. Professionals. “As CEO, Cliff will hold responsibility for serving ORRA’s members through programs and services, plus ensuring that both members and private property rights are represented before governmental entities and community development organizations.”
“I am very excited to be able to serve ORRA’s 14,000-plus membership,” says Long. “As we are ushered further into the technological revolution that is engulfing the real estate profession, ORRA has a unique opportunity to shape the future of this movement and its impact on Central Florida. Cliff will be relocating to Orlando along with his wife and five children. He is an all-sports enthusiast who enjoys participating in his children’s sports activities, and is looking forward to Orlando’s mild climate with its year-round outdoor opportunities. He’s also looking forward to supporting our local sports teams with a hearty, “Go Knights!”
Long succeeds Jacque Stanly, who later this month is retiring as ORRA’s CEO after 40 years with the association.
