Three Orlando REALTORS® were recognized for achieving milestone donations to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee during the National Association of REALTORS’ annual legislative meetings in Washington D.C., in May.
ORRA President-elect Lou Nimkoff, Brio Real Estate Services LLC; Cynthia Shelton, Cynthia Shelton Inc; and ORRA Past President Sharon Voss, Watson Realty Corp; were each inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame. Nimkoff and Voss were inducted at the $25,000 level, while previous-inductee Cynthia Shelton was elevated to the $50,000 level.
ORRA now has 11 members in the RPAC Hall of Fame, which recognizes dedicated members whose RPAC investments total an aggregate of at least $25,000.
RPAC stands for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), which since 1969 has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States.
RPAC’s purpose is to raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support the interests of the REALTOR®, private property rights, and the rights of homeowners. The money to accomplish these goals comes from voluntary contributions made by REALTORS®.
