Strike it rich in free member benefits by claiming your personal profile page on realtor.com

The majority of homebuyers transact with an agent they know personally or through referrals and recommendations. You can get this concept working for you through the FREE services offered to REALTORS® from Realtor.com, NAR’s consumer website. One of those services is the FREE personal profile available on realtor.com. You’ll want to take advantage of this member benefit because its primary function is to connect you with potential consumers:

  • People who have heard about you can later find you via realtor.com's “Find A REALTOR® Directory.”

  • Your profile page is tied to the “Find a REALTOR®” directory that originates as part of your NAR membership.

  • Your profile provides an easy mechanism to ask for recommendations from past clients and get them posted on both realtor.com and your own social media sites.

  • Your profile serves as the basic building block for other free tools and resources available from realtor.com, such as the Mobile Collaborative Search App.

 To get started, claim your own agent profile

1. Visit www.realtor.com/realestateagents and search for yourself;

2. Once you find your profile, click on “View Full Profile;”

3. Click on “Claim My Profile and sign into the “Control Panel.” Note: Along with a self-selected password, you will need to know your MLS and MLS identifier in order to complete the sign-up process.)

Once you’ve claimed your profile, you can begin adding personal information, data, links, etc., that is interest to consumers and could be used in search functionality, such as:

  • Your profile picture and a background photo;
  • An “About Me” romance paragraph;
  • Your specializations;
  • Areas you serve;
  • REALTOR® “R” logo;
  • Number of years you’ve been in business;
  • Languages spoken;
  • Listing metrics;
  • Interactive map of your listing activity;
  • Current listings;
  • Recent showings;
  • Imported recommendations from LinkedIn;
  • Imported recommendations from RealSatisfied;
  • Videos and photos to your recommendations;
  • Designations and certifications;
  • Social networking links;
  • E-mail lead generation;
  • Your public posts from Facebook; and
  • Blog posts from your personal websiteLink to your personal website.
