The Matrix customer portal is a door to the real estate world that YOU open for clients
The customer portal feature of Matrix was designed to be a one-stop shop for communicating with your customers. Through this feature your customers can view all listings that you send them individually, or view listings included in an automatic e-mail prospecting search. They can set favorites, possibilities, and rejects as well as leave you notes about specific properties.
To establish the portal, set up a new auto e-mail search or e-mail your customer a listing or two. Your customer must click on the link within 30 days to activate the portal. If you notice the initial link you sent has not been activated, you can resend the welcome message from the contact record.
Auto e-mail searches will remain active as long as your customer is accessing the link via the portal. If your customer does not access the link for 60 days, you will be notified via e-mail on day 53 where no activity has occurred in the search back to day zero. Another e-mail warning is sent at day 59 where no activity has occurred in the search back to day zero. These notices are designed to keep you informed as to your customer’s lack of activity.
Remember, the search will not expire if your customer clicks the link in the e-mail or is accessing it via the portal unless there is 60 days of inactivity. In other words, every time the link is clicked, the 60 days is automatically reset.

SHOWING ASSIST IN MATRIX
Have you tried to use ShowingTime in Matrix and come up with a blank screen? This is a known issue for members who use Internet Explorer as their preferred browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer and Showing Assist is not opening when logged into Matrix, you will need to add Matrix to compatibility view settings. To do this, click on “Tools” at the top left or the gear icon at the top right (depending on the version of IE that you use) then click on “Compatibility View Settings.”
After clicking on “Compatibility View Settings” follow these steps
1) Type in “showingtime.com” where it says “Add This Website;”
2) Click on “Add;” and
3) Click on “Close” at the bottom of the window.
