But while boomerang buyers may be surprised to learn that their waiting period is less than expected, they still face challenges in qualifying for a mortgage.
Learn how to assist these formerly distressed homeowners qualify for a home at the ORRA class "Purchasing A Home After A Short Sale, Foreclosure, Or Bankruptcy" on Wednesday, March 5 from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The course is worth three continuing education credits and features instruction on:
- FHA qualifications;
- Conventional qualifications;
- VA and USDA loan qualifications;
- Credit restoration and purchase plan structuring; and
- Lender exceptions and special circumstances.
