"Boomerang Buyers" are a new market of opportunity

"Boomerang buyers" — previous homeowners who have suffered a short sale or foreclosure and are now ready to purchase again — represent a significant pool of prospective clients.

But while boomerang buyers may be surprised to learn that their waiting period is less than expected, they still face challenges in qualifying for a mortgage.

Learn how to assist these formerly distressed homeowners qualify for a home at the ORRA class "Purchasing A Home After A Short Sale, Foreclosure, Or Bankruptcy" on Wednesday, March 5 from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The course is worth three continuing education credits and features instruction on:

  • FHA qualifications;
  • Conventional qualifications;
  • VA and USDA loan qualifications;
  • Credit restoration and purchase plan structuring; and
  • Lender exceptions and special circumstances.
