Three Orlando REALTORS® (and amateur video producers) have earned the opportunity to designate their favorite charities to receive donations of $3,000, $1,500, and $500 from the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association.
The three REALTORS® — winners of ORRA’s "How I Positively Impact The Community As A REALTOR®” video contest — and their designated charities are:
First-place winner Claudia Mundlos, Charles Rutenberg Realty, who selected Harvest Time International to receive a $3,000 donation from ORRA;
Second-place winner Veronica Figeuroa, RE/MAX Avalon Park, who selected Avalon Park Foundation to receive a $1,500 donation from ORRA; and
Third-place winner Kristen Kemp, Keller Williams Heritage Realty, who selected Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls to receive a $500 donation from ORRA.
"REALTORS® are enthusiastic users of today’s accessible video technology and frequently make videos to market their sellers’ listings and to preview homes for their buyers,” says ORRA Chairman Steve Merchant, broker-owner of Global Realty International. "We wanted to put those skills to good use as a way to illustrate how REALTORS® build communities in addition to fulfilling dreams of homeownership.”
Participants in ORRA’s "How I Positively Impact The Community As A REALTOR®” video contest were challenged to use their video-making skills to produce a short clip describing how their work as a REALTOR® can benefit a community. Claudia’s contest-winning video described her personal efforts to improve the City of Sanford by promoting its positive attributes to potential new residents, and by encouraging its current residents to share a vision of improvement for the city.
The contest’s winners were selected by popular vote amongst REALTOR® members of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association.
The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, recognized as one of the most innovative local real estate associations in the country, represents more than 8,800 real estate professionals throughout Central Florida.
