Who can hold title to real property?
The "From Contract to Commission: Basic Course" gave an overview of the life of a contract from data entry to commission check and covered red flags that might delay closings such as: bankruptcy, foreclosure, and probates. This advanced course takes an in depth look into title vesting and the different entities that hold title and will review the roles played by judgments, power of attorneys and foreign investment real property tax act in completing the closing transactions.
The title expert will cover:

1. Joint Tenancy with full rights of survivorship
2. Tenancy in Common
3. Estate by Entireties
- Corporations
- Trusts
- Guardianships
- Partnerships/Limited Liability Company
- Foreign Investment Real Property Tax Act (F.I.R.P.T.A)

Susan West, President of Fidelity National Title of Florida, Inc.'s Eastern Operation
Susan is a licensed title insurance agent and has been in the title insurance industry for more than 22 years. Prior to her current position, Susan served as District Manager for Chelsea Title Company which flourished throughout the state and was acquired by Fidelity National Financial in 2004. Susan's professional career began in banking. In her last banking position she was an Assistant Vice President managing the Mortgage Closing, Post Audit and Delivery to Secondary Market Departments.
