Look before you leap into
commercial real estate
This course is designed for today's busy residential REALTOR®, who may have an interest in expanding their services to include commercial real estate as well. The overall goal of this course is to better equip you to decide if this specialty is a direction that you want to take.
This program will acquaint you with...
- Key differences between residential and
non-residential real estate
- Identification of the "players"
- Types of commercial real estate and transactions
- Methods for valuation of commercial property
- The documents used in commercial transactions
Instructor
Linda Olson, is an active REALTOR® specializing in commercial property, especially vacant land, and also completes transactions as a residential agent. Linda has a BS in Wildlife Management and a MS in Wildlife Ecology. She spent the first part of her career as an environmental consultant to builders and developers before obtaining her real estate license. She is a Florida REALTORS® faculty member who has written and taught numerous CE credit courses.
