this exceptional group of buyers!

Florida is still one of the most desirable retirement destinations and with that being said, this course will discuss ways REALTORS® can be of service to an exceptional group of buyers, the senior citizens. You will learn about reverse mortgages, how to help seniors avoid scams, and predatory lending.

In this course, REALTORS® will learn...

  • The concerns of the senior citizen buyer
  • Knowledge of senior citizens in terms of finances
  • Reverse mortgages
  • Scams targeting seniors
  • Predatory lending targeting seniors

Instructor

Patricia Sherman holds an Associate in Arts Degree, a broker's license, and a Florida real estate instructor's license. She has also earned the following designations and certificates: Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), e-Pro, AHWD, and Florida Military Specialist (FMS). Patricia was awarded the Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® 'Educator of the Year' award in both 2005 and 2010. In addition, she instructs for the American Heart Association's CPR, BLS, and First Aid courses.
