This course will help you understand who is responsible for the various parts of the closing, how to overcome problems that may arise, and ensure that REALTOR® fees are received without obstacles! No two closings are the same and this course is designed to help you stay on track.
After this course, you will be able to:
- Provide options in the event of failed inspections
- Differentiate between closing activities of a
conventional contract, a cash purchase, and a
HUD/VA financial transaction
- Provide options for a timely closing on a property
with a correctable title problem
- Construct a timeline outlining the contract acceptance and the actual closing for each party
- List the options a broker has in an escrow dispute
- Prepare a net sheet for buyer's required cash to
close and sellers net proceeds
Jean Dorazio, is currently the Vice President and Florida Marketing Manager at North American Title Co. and has been a REALTOR® in Florida for over 25 years. She is both a licensed real estate instructor and a licensed title agent; much of her experience has been gained by serving as President of the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) Tampa chapter. Jean has sold both residential and commercial real estate, and has worked in property management as well as land development for a major developer.
