New Good Faith Estimate and Closing Disclosure
Have An Effect on You and Your Clients
This is not just an ordinary course about bad practices and misinformed buyers. This course is an up-to-date overview of the changes to the real estate industry since the market meltdown. Recent (and upcoming) changes to the GFE and the HUD-1 will be covered. This course will help you understand legislative changes and succeed in today's market.
Students will learn about the following:
- The new "know before you owe" mortgage form that will replace the existing federal disclosures.
- A new three-page loan estimate form ("Ficus") that must be provided to clients within three business days of a loan application.
- The new five-page closing document to be provided to clients three business days before loan closing.
- The new rule, effective Aug. 1, 2015 that is the last requirement of the Dodd-Frank Act.
