To help you get up to date—and stay out of trouble, Division of Real Estate Director Juana Watkins will share you with the latest updates, as well as how you and your agents can avoid the most common violations and stay out of trouble.
The event will include a question-and-answer session with the presenter, and an open-discussion period for brokers to share concerns with ORRA representatives.

About the Speaker
Juana Watkins is a native of Pensacola, Florida and currently serves as the Director for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Real Estate. Before coming to the Division of Real Estate, Ms. Watkins served as Senior Counsel for the Florida Association of Realtors where she had the responsibility of providing in-house legal services to the largest trade association in the state of Florida. She gave training courses on a variety of issues including antitrust, regulatory compliance and much more. For over 10 years Ms. Watkins has been a member of the Florida Bar.
Juana Watkins has previously served in several capacities within the Division of Real Estate. She was Senior Attorney, before her promotion to Chief Attorney, then Acting Director. She also served as the Deputy Director before her appointment by the Governor to her current position as Director. Prior to her service with the Division of Real Estate, and the Florida Association of Realtors, she was an Assistant Public Defender for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office.
In addition to her government service, Ms. Watkins enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two beautiful children. Ms. Watkins is a graduate of Florida A&M University and Florida State University College of Law.
