The GRI program is designed to enhance your knowledge of real estate marketing and teach you skills that will set you apart from thecompetition.

Standards of Practice is just one of the three GRI courses and provides a "nuts and bolts" approach to transaction contracts, financing alternatives, fair housing and business planning.

Completion of all the GRI courses will earn you one of the industry's most respected professional desigantions.

During the 6-day couse you will:

  • Learn about the many aspects of real estate transactions.
  • Recieve the latest finance information on government and other loan programs.
  • Learn how to financially qualify buyers, closing techniques, and review the Florida REALTORS®/Florida Bar contract.
  • Learn how to set up aneffective business plan to assure your success.
  • Understand how to use your expertise and experience in assisting clients in order to generate additional income.

In order to receive "CE” credits for any continuing education class(es), attendees must:
  • Be physically present for the entire program from beginning to end;
  • Sign any/all morning or afternoon attendance sheets; and
  • Refrain from using cell phones and laptops, except during designated break times.

Registration fees shown are for ORRA members who pre-register. Registration for non-ORRA members (members of other associations) is an additional fee of $15 (unless otherwise noted). On-site registrations will incur a fee of $15 in addition to the applicable registration fee.


Completion of GRI-1 (6-day course) provides 14 hours (11 hours "specialty” (CE) credits plus 3 hours Core Law) or 45-hour Sales Associate Post-licensing credits. Completion of GRI-2 or GRI-3 (each a 5-day course) provides either 11 hours "specialty” (CE) credits or 30-hour Broker Post-licensing (BPL) credits. To receive course credit, continuous attendance is mandatory for all GRI courses. GRI courses may be taken in any order and all three courses must be completed within 5 years to receive the GRI designation.
