ORRA members help chart ORRA's direction by sharing their time, talents, and expertise as a volunteer on an ORRA committee.
At the end of each year, ORRA seeks individuals to fill openings on some of its more than 20 committees, task forces, councils, and forums.
Committee appointments are held at the end of calendar year; however, some committee placements are available throughout the year. We encourage you to apply for possible appointment by the ORRA Board of Directors.

Brings Affiliate members together to develop programs and opportunities that foster REALTOR®-Affiliate networking opportunities.
Awards Task Force
Organizes, plans, and implements the association's awards and recognitions programs. Prerequisite: at least one year of ORRA committee service.
Budget and Finance Committee
Provides oversight of financial and budgetary aspects of the association’s operations.
Bylaws and Policy Task Force
Reviews association governing documents to ensure they remain current to Florida Real Estate Commission, Florida REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® rules.
Oversees the communications efforts of the association, including internal and external messages.
Community Relations Committee
Encourages member participation in community projects, organizes activities and events with the Foundation, and provides additional opportunities for service.
Facilities Task Force
Oversees the physical assets of the association and reviews bids for maintenance repairs, improvements, and furnishings. It also recommends expenditures.
Global Real Estate Council of Orlando Operations Committee
Plans council programs and events to increase members' international real estate transactions.
Governmental Affairs Committee
Tracks real estate legislation and regulations, participates in public meetings, and communicates with local officials. Handles RPAC fundraising through RPAC Subcommittee.
Receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests and determines whether or not hearings are warranted. (Mandatory training will be held on February 16, 2018 from 9 am to noon.)
Independent Small Brokers Council Operations Committee
Coordinates council activities, including gathering broker input on industry issues and planning events.
Bears responsibility for the association’s activities related to investing and asset allocation.
Member Services Committee
Provides guidance regarding membership policies, represents the needs of the general membership, and addresses development issues.
Orlando Regional Commercial Council Operations Committee
Plans continuing education and networking forums to enhance REALTOR success in commercial business.
Professional Development Forum
Seeks to improve REALTOR® professionalism and productivity via educational programming suitable for all segments of the membership.
Professional Standards Committee
Conducts hearings on alleged unethical conduct by members or in arbitration of business disputes. (Mandatory training will be held on February 16, 2018 from 9 am to noon.) Prerequisite: Minimum of 3 years' service on Grievance Committee.
Social Media Task Force
Help develop and carry out the association's social media strategy, including engaging with and promoting the organization on social media platforms.
Technology Task Force
Brings and reviews emerging technology to the attention of leadership and provides technical guidance on the advantages, disadvantages. and potential impact.
Young Professionals Network Operations Committee
Develops programs and events to help young real estate pros excel by providing tools and support via mentors, networking, and community service.
